| so i found me journal from ethiopia, cherie made me one with random pictures of all us throughout the journal. i totally treasured in overseas, but i lost it. A missionary found it and mailed it to me and then it got lost in my office and i found it today while i would cleaning and getting ready for 2008. anyways i found this quote and wanted to share it. | Going hunting this weekend and what am I most excited about!! Being able to wear my new camo. I think it is important to have matching camo and now all mine matches and I am super excited. Hopefully I will get a big fat doe and have some great meat!! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Regan and Faith I am eagerly waiting to hear how your wednesday went!!! OH!! I made jerky for the first time! It turned out good and three people tried it at work and they said it was good and my dad did too. So if I get a doe I will make yall some jerky!! | don't forget what really happened on Oct. 31!!!! Oct 31, 1517, Martin Luther put those thoughts for discussions on the church door and for that I am grateful. What timely fashion he had, posting his questions about indulgences the day before all saints day and all would come to Wittenburg Germany to pay indulgences to the church. Can you imagine not knowing that by faith we are accepted by God? Can you imagine, finding out the church which you have trusted had lied to you. Can you imagine the Reformation!! I love his motive for posting those thesis. He just wanted to spark conversation about a few things that didn't line up to him. He wasn't out to cut the achilles heel of the Catholic church. it just happened. I also find it neat that in Wittenburg was as fairly new university, of about 200 students and you know they probably grabbed hold of that truth and probably because of some radical, truth seeking students we no longer have to wonder how a person is accepted by God or worry about financially paying for our sin, but we are set free and rescued by faith through grace. | Just a quick post . . . Faith our new dog is doing great. Sometimes I find myself calling her faithers, but that is reserved for a certain someone. And I also explained to her that she is named after one of my dearest friends so she has alot to live up to. Work is crazy, good, busy, I have tons of paperwork to sort out before the end of the year. so i am feeling the squeeze and i like it. Why do i love pressure? who knows. anyways work is good. Oh and a huge praise report. We got another handme down truck from ATC and it is awesome and the most awesome thing is we were able to give the white truck to stevie's parents. Can we all say the LORD is GOOD, so very Good!!!! The service on my phone is a little jacked up, so if you call me it is hit or miss. I usually receive text messages. so if you try to call and dont get me text me to call you. Sorry for my ghetto phone. and go reg for seminary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love and Miss yall | | |
